Legislature sets up one more parliamentary commission

The parliamentary commission on public administration, regional development, environment and climate change was divided into two: parliamentary commission on public administration and parliamentary commission on regional development, environment and climate change. The MPs passed a bill on parliamentary commissions in the last siting of the spring-summer session in the evening of July 21, IPN reports.

From now on, the legislative body will include ten parliamentary commissions, as opposed to nine until now. Under the bill, the parliamentary commission on public administration will consist of ten MPs, while the parliamentary commission on regional development, environment and climate change will be formed of 11 MPs. The list of commission members hasn’t been made public yet.

The two commissions will center on the organization and functioning of the central public authorities, regional development, territorial development, public amenities and local development, state policy on environmental protection, sustainable use of natural resources, restoration and maintaining of state protected a natural areas and amelioration of natural resources, production and household waste management and ecological security.
