Leader of Israeli party calls for stirring up talks on investment projects in Moldova

The leader of the party Casa Noastra – Israel [Our Home – Israel], Avigdor Liberman, says that he will use the increasing popularity of his party in the politics in Israel in order to give a new impulse to the Moldovan-Israeli economic cooperation, especially by stirring up talks on important investment projects on agriculture and transportation in Moldova. The Israeli official has delivered such a statement at a meeting with President Vladimir Voronin According to a presidential communication, the sides highlighted the increasing interest of Israeli businessmen for business development and creation of joint ventures in Moldova, as well as the intensification of cultural-humanitarian exchanges between the two states. In particular, the dialogue envisaged the contribution of the Modlovan diaspora in Israel and of the Jewish diaspora in Moldova to deepening the political, economic and cultural dialogue between the two countries.
