Lawyers for Vicol, Banaruc, Negruta and Usatyi to sue NAC

The lawyers for Nicolae Vicol, Eduard Banaruc, Veaceslav Negruta and Andrei Usatyi in a news conference announced that they will sue the officers of the Nationals Anticorruption Center (NAC) for the numerous illegal actions taken in the criminal cases started against their clients, Info-Prim Neo reports. Eduard Rosca, lawyer for the Government’s deputy secretary general Eduard Banaruc, said the presumption of innocence in the case of his client was violated. The disclosure of information collected within the investigation is also a violation. Eduard Rosca also said that in the case of the head of the Main State Tax Inspectorate Nicolae Vicol, the search carried out at the Inspectorate’s head office, in his home and car were illegal; as there was no ordinance from the prosecution body and an authorization from judge.
