Law on amending state budget for 2006 was promulgated

The law on amending the Law on state budget for 2006 was promulgated by the head of state, Vladmir Voronin. According to the Press Service of the Presidency, in the new version of the Law on State Budget the incomes will increase by MDL 737.4 mln or by 7.6%, expenses increase by MDL 513.3 mln or by 5.1%. The deficit of the state budget diminished by MDL 224.1 mln and will constitute MDL 110.5 mln according to the agreements established with IMF regarding macroeconomic indexes. The amendments operated to the Law on State Budget for 2006 were determined by new foreign sources for some projects financed from outside, as well as by the necessity of covering supplementary expenses. The law includes financial resources covering free meals, starting September 1, for t students of the secondary professional education institutions and others.
