Law enforcement bodies will revise the legislative framework on raider attacks, in order to be able to react quickly if raids happen, mentioned President Nicolaie Timofti after the Supreme Security Council meeting, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Nicolaie Timofti said that raider attacks may still happen, mentioning that some courts’ rulings and decisions seem doubtful to him. In regards to the raider attacks of last autumn, the President said that the responsible institutions acted well and, in the future will do their best in avoiding such illegal activity. Nicolaie Timofti did not want to comment on some information circulated in the press, regarding the fact that a London court stated that the person behind the raider attacks is first deputy Parliament Speaker Vlad Plahotniuc. Overall, the President graded the situation in the banking system as satisfactory. Vlad Filat announced in last year’s fall that raider attacks targeted several financial and banking institutions, like Moldova-Agroindbank, Economy Bank, Victoriabank, as well as the Insurance Company ASITO.
