Large-scale fire at “Wedding House” restaurant

A big fire occurred at “Casa Nuntii” (“Wedding House”) restaurant that is situated in Buiucani district of Chisinau. Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Liliana Puscasu has told Info-Prim Neo that the fire destroyed about 350 square meters of the roof of an annex of the restaurant. “The call to 901 was made at 15:26. Seven firefighting vehicles were sent to the scene and the fire was localized. It is known that works to lay the roof of the building were performed using open fire. Thus, the cause of fire may be the negligent use of open fire,” Liliana Puscasu said, adding nobody was hurt. The inside of the building wasn’t affected.
