After a week during which it operated on coal to produce electricity, the Kuchurgan power plant switched back to natural gas. This was announced by the crisis cell in Tiraspol, IPN reports.
The Transnistrian administration a week ago announced that the Kuchurgan power plant will produce electricity using coal. The decision was taken in order to save natural gas. Last night, the plant switched back to gas.
At the same time, the Transnistrian administration said that the hotline of the so-called Ministry of Interior, created in the context of the energy crisis, was closed as the number of calls decreased to a minimum.
The hotline was used since December 25, 2024 and more than 18,000 calls were made to it since then.
