After Tiraspol officially accepted the gas lent by Chisinau, the local leader Vadim Krasnoselski announced that the Transnistrian region will receive gas in 3-4 days after the Commission for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Moldova takes a relevant decision, IPN reports.

Vadim Krasnoselsky welcomed the EU”s financial assistance offer and admitted that the refusal of this emergency aid would be an absurdity in the current crisis, which the Transnistrian region has been going through since January 1.

However, in his opinion, no concrete details were provided. But Krasnoselsky assures that the representatives of Tiraspol are willing to cooperate in order to apply the new agreement and to resume gas supplies to the left bank of the Nistru.

"If no one puts obstacles, if the Commission for Emergency Situations is convened on time, in 3-4 days it will be possible to supply gas to the Transnistrian region. However, these negotiations are reminiscent of a viscous swamp," said Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The Transnistrian leader assured that "all the parties that buy gas for the Transnistrian region work openly and transparently, with the help of the Russian loan."

"The concrete help of the Russian Federation consists in the fact that it grants a loan specifically to the Transnistrian region. This is money that must be paid back. It's not gratis, as some speculate. This money will go to the company Tiraspoltransgaz, which will pay for the gas lent by Moldovagaz," explained Krasnoselsky.
