The Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselsky expects that the delivery of gas to the Transnistrian region will be difficult, despite the statements made by the Moldovan authorities, which said that they will not hinder the transit. At a meeting with the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Kelly Keiderling, Krasnoselsky asked the international community for assistance in this process, IPN reports.

The Transnistrian leader noted that the facts are contrary to the statements. "And this is because I see particular inconsistencies regarding this process. That's why I want you to understand this situation. The situation is difficult and I do not recommend taking it to extremes to anyone," said Vadim Krasnoselsky.

After a visit paid to the Russian Federation, Krasnoselsky on Wednesday announced that Russian gas supplies to the Transnistrian region will be resumed, in the form of humanitarian aid, but did not specify an exact date when this will happen.

Two days ago, President Maia Sandu said that if the Russian company Gazprom resumes gas supplies, Chisinau will not oppose the transit.
