Know candidates in your constituency! No. 36: Ștefan Vodă, Căușeni

Constituency No. 36: Ștefan Vodă, Căușeni includes Ștefan Vodă town and another 26 localities of Ștefan Vodă district and also two localities of Căușeni district. The electors there will vote at polling places No. 36/1 to 36/38. The candidate who wins the largest number of votes in a single-member constituency, regardless of the voter turnout, emerges victorious.

The list of candidates on the ballot is headed by the Democratic Party’s candidate Nicolae Molozea, a jurist by profession. In February 2015 – July 2015, he served as an MP, but renounced the seat in favor of the post of head of Ștefan Vodă district, which he continues to hold. He is the head of the PDM’s Ștefan Vodă district organization and is a member of the party’s National Political Council. For the last two years, the candidate and his wife declared over 540,000 lei salary revenues and almost 270,000 lei earned from selling property. Nicolae Molozea owns three lots of land, two apartments, a house and a garage.

The second spot on the ballot is taken by the Party of Socialists’ candidate Alexandru Jolnaci, who manages the individual enterprises “Jolnaci Alexandru” and Verhovtsevo-Trans. Alexandru Jolnaci joined the PSRM in 2014 and now heads the Ștefan Vodă local organization of the PSRM and is a member of the party’s National Council. In June 2015, he became district councilor in Ștefan Vodă. The candidate declared 21,000 lei salary revenues earned between January 1, 2017 and December 26, 2018. He also gained 1,800 lei councilor allowances and over 10,000 lei pension. The candidate owns a car, a house and other property. He owns shares in the company Combinat Auto nr. 4 of Chisinau.

The Shor Party’s candidate Natalia Tkachenko, a pensioner, comes third. She heads the Ștefan Vodă local organization of the Shor Party. For the last two years, the candidate declared over 65,000 lei revenues and 40,000 lei pension. She owns a car.

The candidate of the electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS Andrei Dînga, an economist by profession, is under No. 4. Andrei Dînga is the deputy head of the Ștefan-Vodă local organization of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”. Since 2000 until 2014, he lived in Northern Ireland and the UK. When he returned home, he founded the agricultural company SRL “Ecoalimentrprim” in Ștefan Vodă. The candidate and his wife declared almost 118,000 lei and £80,000 lei revenues for the last two years. The family owns almost 55 plots of farmland and four storehouses.
