Constituency No. 35: Căușeni, Anenii Noi includes Căușeni town and another 18 localities of Căușeni district. The electors there will vote at polling places No. 35/1 to 35/35. The candidate who wins the largest number of votes in a single-member constituency, regardless of the voter turnout, emerges victorious.
The first spot on the ballot is taken by the Democratic Party’s candidate Grigore Repeshchuk, a jurist by profession. He is the incumbent mayor of Căușeni town, elected in August 2011. According to alege2019.md, Grigore Repeshchuk won the mayoral elections in Căușeni after running as an independent candidate. In June 2014, he joined the Democratic Party of Moldova. He is a former police officer and commissioner of Căușeni town in 2007-2008. He heads the district Rescue Unit. For the last two years, the candidate and his wife declared over 414,000 lei salary revenues, 630,000 lei dividends, 90,000 lei earned from selling a car and about 64,000 lei pension and allowances. The family declared three lots of land, two apartments, a house, a part of a garage and a car. The candidate owns tree limited liability companies.
The Party of Socialists’ candidate Oleg Cuciuc, a technologist-engineer r in winemaking by profession, is under No. 2. He entered Parliament as a candidate of the PSRM in 2017. He is a member of the party’s National Council. After the local elections of June 2015, he became district and town councilor in Căușeni on behalf of the PSRM. He entered politics in 2009 as a member of the Party of Communists. In 2012, he joined the PSRM. He is the shareholder of a joint stock company under insolvency. For the last two years, the candidate and his wife declared about 338,000 salary revenues.
The Party of Communists’ candidate Veaceslav Nigai, a jurist by profession, comes third. He has served as the deputy head of Căușeni district since 2012. According to alege2019.md, in December 2006 – November 2012, he worked as an engineer for labor and civil protection at ÎCS “Suvorov-Vin” SRL. For the last two years, the candidate declared over 224,000 lei salary revenues and about 137,000 lei pension and allowances. The candidate’s family owns two building lots, an apartment, a garage and a car.
The fourth spot on the ballot is taken by the Shor Party’s candidate Anatolie Zaremba, a manager by profession. He is the former mayor of Căușeni town, currently town and district councilor in Căușeni. For the last two years, the candidate and his wife declared over 135,000 lei pension, more than 69,000 lei earned from selling property and 9,000 lei allowances. The candidate owns an apartment, an inherited house and two cars.
The candidate of the electoral bloc ACUM Platform DA and PAS Anton Gamurar, a jurist by profession, is under No. 5. He is a police general-major in reserve. He fought in the Nistru war. In 1991 - 1997, he managed the Special Task Police Brigade “Fulger”. For the last two years, the candidate and his wife declared over 315,000 lei pension. The family owns two lots of land, one of which is worth over 1.1 million lei.
The National Liberal Party’s candidate Ion Calmîc, a bachelor of economic sciences, comes sixth. He is the secretly general of the National Liberal Party. For the last two years, the candidate declared over 214,000 lei salary revenues. The candidate’s wife earned about 60,000 lei allowances. In checking accounts, the family has over 3,000 lei and 2,000 Romanian lei. They also own an apartment.
The seventh spot on the ballot is taken by the candidate of the Party “Democracy at Home” Zinaida Bolboceanu, a teacher by profession. She teaches at the Academy of Theater, Music and Plastic Arts. The folk music singer is a People’s Artist. For the last two years, the candidate and her husband declared 360,000 lei salary revenues, 40,000 Romanian lei from teaching, scientific and creation activities and over 21,000 lei pension. The family owns two lots of land, one of which inherited and the other one donated, a car and 7,000 Romanian lei in bank accounts.
Independent candidate Tamara Ambroci-Ivanov, a teacher and psychologist by profession, is under No. 8, but she withdrew from the electoral competition.
