Know candidates in your constituency! No. 33: Chisinau municipality

Constituency No. 33: Chisinau municipality consists of the suburban settlements Codru, Durlești, Sângera, Revaca, Dobrogea, Băcioi, Brăila and Trușeni. The electors there will vote at polling places No. 33/1 to 33/27. The candidate who wins the largest number of votes in a single-member constituency, regardless of the voter turnout, emerges victorious.

The Democratic Party’s candidate Constantin Țuțu, a jurist by profession, comes first. The 32-year-old candidate entered Parliament on the Democratic ticket in 2014 and the same year became a member of the Democratic Party. Constantin Țuțu is a professional kickboxer. For the last two years, the candidate declared over 312,000 lei salary revenues. He earned 20,00 lei and €80,000 from selling two cars. He also gained €15,000 at a family event and over 133,000 lei in MP allowances. Constantin Țuțu owns a lot of land, a house and a car worth €80,000.

The candidate of the electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS, co-president of the bloc Andrei Năstase, a lawyer by profession, is under No. 2 on the ballot. He is the president of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”. Earlier, he worked as transport prosecutor assistant at the Transport Prosecutor’s Office and as vice director of “Air Moldova”. Since 2002 until 2015, he served as a lawyer at the law firm “Andrei Năstase”. For the past two years, the candidate declared his wife’s salary revenues of over €67,000. The family also earned €35,000 from selling a car and over €14,000 in child  benefit. The candidate owns seven lots of land and parts of another two lots. The family possesses an apartment, four houses, a garage, a car and another five real estate facilities.

Independent candidate Andrei Nastas, a jurist by profession, comes third. He is aged 33 and serves as a department head at the State University of Physical Education and Sport. He worked as the head of the Analysis and Strategic Planning Division of the Ministry of the Interior and managed the Investigations Division of the General Police Inspectorate. For the last two years, the candidate and his wife declared over 404,000 lei salary revues and more than  286,000 lei earned from teaching, scientific and creation activities. Andrei Nastas declared 126,000 lei, €30,000 and US$ 9,500 earned at their wedding party. He owns a part of a lot of land, a part of a house and other real estate.

The Party of Socialists’ candidate Vladimir Roșca, an economist by profession, is under No. 4. He is the manager of SRL “Tehnologii Matlasate”. Vladimir Roșca serves as a local councilor in Durlești and is a member of the National Council of the PSRM. For the last two years, the candidate declared the wife’s salary revenues of over 654,000 lei. He earned 5,400 lei in councilor allowances. Vladimir Roșca owns an apartment and parts of another two apartments and seven units of transport.

Independent candidate Călin Vieru, a neurologist, jurist and manager, takes the fifth spot on the ballot. He works as a consultant on legal issues at SC “Opera Magna” SRL and owns two trading companies, including a restaurant. He also owns 50% holdings in another two trading companies. For the last two years, the candidate declared almost 168,000 lei in salary. Călin Vieru owns an apartment.

Independent candidate Boris Volosayi, a teacher of history and doctor of pedagogy, is under No. 6. He has served as the principal of the Theoretical Lyceum “Gheorghe Asachi” of Chisinau since 1990. For the last two years, the candidate and his wife declared over 366,000 salary revenues. The family also earned over 426,000 lei rental and dividends and more than 224,000 lei pension. The candidate owns six pieces of farmland, an apartment and parts of another apartment and a of a house, a garage and a car.
