No. 19: Orhei, Rezina, Criuleni, Dubăsari includes 18 localities of Orhei district, eight localities of Dubăsari district, six localities of Rezina district and three localities of Criuleni district. The electors there will vote at polling places No. 19/1-19/56. The candidate who wins the largest number of votes in a single-member constituency, regardless of the voter turnout, emerges victorious.

The Democratic Party’s candidate Tudor Golub, a bachelor of history and geography, tops the list of candidates in this constituency. He heads Orhei  district. According to alege2019.md, Tudor Golub entered politics in 2003, together with the creation with the Social – Liberal Party. He was town councilor and also district councilor in Orhei. Currently, he is the head of the Orhei district organization of the Democratic Party and a member of the this party’s National Political Council and of the PDM’s National Ethics Commission. For January 1, 2017 – December 26, 2018, the candidate declared over 245,000 lei salary and also 49,000 lei and €12,500 earned by his family from other sources. Tudor Golub declared a piece of land and two houses.

The Party of Socialists’ candidate Mihail Paciu, an engineer-agronomist and a doctor of agricultural sciences, is under No. 2. He manages the peasant farmstead “M. Paciu”. He worked as a lecturer at the State Agrarian University of Moldova. He also served as vice director of SA “Romănești”. For January 1, 2017 – December 26, 2018, he and his wife declared over 498,000 lei revenues. The family owns about 75 pieces of land, a house, two cars and other property.

The Shor Party’s candidate Marina Tauber, who is an expert in political sciences, comes third. She is the suspended mayor of Jora de Mijloc village of Orhei duct it, elected in 2018. Marina Tauber, who is the vice president of the Shor Party, earlier held the post of president of the National Tennis Federation. For January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2018, the candidate declared over 78,000 lei revenues. She owns an apartment.

The fourth spot is taken by the Party of Communists’ candidate Lucia Viscun, an accountant and a jurist by profession. She works as an accountant at the peasant farmstead “Reu Maria”. For January 1, 2017 – December 26, 2018, the candidate declared over 15,000 lei salary, while her husband – €41,500 salary. The family also declared over 24,000 lei from donations and €15,000 earned from selling a piece of land. Lucia Viscun owns 22 pieces of land, an apartment and two cars.

The candidate of the electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS Mariana Cușnir, a jurist by profession, is under No. 5. The candidate is a bachelor of public administration. She serves as the executive director of the Orhei Community Foundation and as the commercial agent of “Trigor AVD”. For January 1, 2017 – November 30, 2018, the candidate and her husband declared over 574,000 lei revenues and more than 229,000 lei from leasing out commercial areas and also 4,000 RON in child benefit. The family owns an apartment, a garage, two commercial areas and two cars.

Current Liberal MP Roman Boțan, a jurist by profession, is under No. 6. In 2016-2018, he headed the parliamentary commission on nationals security, defense and public order. Before becoming an MP, Roman Boțan served as the deputy head of Orhei district and deputy mayor of Orhei town. He also served as vice director and then director of the Orhei branch of the Center for Training Specialists for the National Army. For January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2018, the candidate and his wife declared over 416,000 lei revenues. The family owns an apartment and a piece of farmland.

The Ecologist Green Party’s candidate Vitalie Marinuța, a master of public administration and international security, is under No. 7. He manages SRL “MARI GRUP PP”. In 2009-2014, he served as minister of defense, being a member of the Liberal Party. For January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2018, the candidate declared over 115,000 lei salary and more than 178,000 lei earned from other sources. He also declared 5,000 received as a donation and €30,000 lei earned from selling a house. The family possesses two pieces of land, two houses and a car.
