The Ministry of Justice has announced the launch of the process of drafting a bill on the reformation of the Supreme Court of Justice. Those interested are invited to submit relevant proposals, IPN reports.

Proposals can be sent to the email address victor.stratu@justice.gov.md by August 1.

In a press release, the Ministry said the bill will be designed with the aim of improving the quality of justice, strengthening the independence and individual responsibilities of judges and ensuring a unitary practice at the Supreme Court of Justice.

The bill will envision the reduction in the number of judges at this court, assessment of the current judges, examination of cases pending at the Supreme Court of Justice and transfer of judges of this court to hierarchically inferior courts of law.
