Moldova’s beach soccer champion Joker-Tornado played the first game of the Champions League in Italy. The team trained by Ruslan Barbaros was beaten by the champion of the Czech Republic Bohemians 3-4, IPN reports.

The match ended in a 3-3 draw and Bohemians scored the victory goal in overtime, profiting from a mistake made by Joker’s defense. The goals for Moldova’s champion were scored by Negara, Baesu (penalty), and Comlionoc.

On June 4, in the second game of Group E, Joker meets Portsmouth Beach Soccer Club of England, which lost the first match to Sable Dancers of Switzerland 3-10. Only the top two ranked teams qualify for the next stage of the competition.
