Job fair for Moldovans in Italy

The Employment Agency in cooperation with the Organization for the Development of the SME Sector (ODIMM) and other institutions will stage a job fair for Moldovans in Rome on May 22, Info-Prim Neo reports. ODIMM director Iulia Iabanji said the Moldovans, mainly those who want to return home, will be informed about the opportunities existing on the labor market. The Employment Agency invited representatives of a number of companies that offer jobs and competitive salaries to the fair. “We want to persuade our compatriots to start small businesses using a part of the accumulated money and experience and to produce goods and provide the services needed in their native settlements. We will present information about the implemented projects and the concessions and assistance provided within these projects. We will inform them about the National Youth Economic Empowerment Program and the PARE 1+1 Program on Attraction of Remittances to Economy, which is aimed at stimulating the Moldovans working abroad to invest in developing businesses,” said Iulia Iabanji. She also said that similar fairs were held in other counties were Moldovans work and they turned out to be useful.
