Javier Solana’s visit in the region, including to Moldova, is adjourned

The visit of the general secretary of the European Union Council, Javier Solana, high representative for Foreign Policy and Common Security of the bloc, in the region was postponed, connected to the agenda of the latter one, according to MAEIE report. The ministry announced previously that Solana should make a short visit to Chisinau. Javier Solana was expected to Moldova on 2 March, when he was scheduled to meet with President Vladimir Voronin. Last visit of Javier Swhen the latter one attended the opening of the European Union Office (EU) that handles the Border Assistance Mission at the Moldovan-Ukrainian frontier, in Odessa.
