The political project that former Prime Minister Iurie Leanca intends to launch in the near future has small chances of becoming successful. Such statements were made in the talk show “Politics” on TV7 channel, IPN reports.

The head of the Association “Justice and Uprightness” Ion Dron said Iurie Leanca does not have many chances of asserting himself in politics because he discredited himself. “Iurie Leanca accepted to take part in a bad show in Parliament, when he wasn’t voted in Premier and then made a victim of himself. He even had the impudence to say that he knew he will not be voted in. Leanca makes Russian-like PR. It’s not known in what labs it was created. He is definitely not alone in his project and I’m sure that he does not really care about the country’s fate. It’s yet certain that he was Prime Minister when Banca de Economii was robbed and the Airport was conceded. Russia does not need to come with tanks to conquer Moldova. It’s enough to attack the country’s financial-banking system,” sated the jurist.

Political analyst Alexei Tulbure also considers that Iurie Leanca’s political project has slim chances of becoming successful. “Leanca is not the man who can make the change and change the people’s mentality and way of thinking. Moreover, Leanca made many mistakes. However, Leanca’s political project will be supported by the foreign partners,” he said.

Anatol Taranu, director of the Center for Strategic Research and Political Consultancy “Politicon”, said the current government will place obstacles to Iurie Leanca’s project. “Leanca is supported in society. He inspires confidence and has a good public speech. He says many things and this can be to his disadvantage and can worsen his situation. It won’t be easy to implement this project as Leance will be hampered by those who know secrets about him,” he stated.

The program’s permanent invitee, political analyst Igor Botan noted he is less skeptical about Iurie Leanca’s chances. “The fact that he wasn’t dismissed for acts of corruption is Iurie Leanca’s advantage. However, there are many questions as to his performance as Premier,” he said.
