Prime Minister Iurie Leanca on July 24 will make known the results achieved by the Government during the first 50 days of the installment. Analysts consider that the Premier and the Government did well in the period and if this pace is maintained, Moldova will have a functional executive that will successfully lead it to the Vilnius Summit.

Political analyst Anatol Taranu considers that these days were full of activities and the fact that the Leanca Government continued the initiatives launched by the Filat Government is a positive thing. “Iurie Leanca made full use of his abilities of diplomat in Brussels and in Moldova. In this short period of time he managed to gain the European institutions’ wide support,” the analysts stated for IPN.

According to Anatol Taranu, the Premier was a little awkward when chairing the meetings of the Government owing to lack of experience, but this fact didn’t affect the going of things.

Political analyst Mihai Cernencu believes that the Leanca Government calmed things down. In these 50 days things returned to normality. There were held talks in the 5+2 format in Vienna, Romanian President Traian Basescu paid a visit to Moldova and the Cabinet had a productive meeting in Holercani.

Iurie Leanca was installed on May 30.
