Athlete Iuliana Dabija has won a bronze medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival held in Baku, IPN reports.
She competed in triple jump and achieved the result of 12.98 meters, being outstripped by Sweden’s Maja Aaskag (13.26m) and France’s Lesly Raffin (13.08m).
Earlier, Moldova won medals through athlete Nina Căpățînă (silver), wrestlers Constantin Kirilov and Mihaela Samoil and judoka Paulina Țurcan (all bronzes). One day before the end of the competition, Moldova ranks 29th in the medal standings. Russia leads with 58 won medals.
