The idea for ministers to create their own teams is a good one, considers political analyst Ion Tabarata. “Taking into account the previous situations, when disagreements appeared between the ministers of a certain party and the deputy ministers of another party, I think it’s worth trying such a mechanism as we will also know who is responsible for a certain sector,” the political analyst stated for IPN.

However, Ion Tabarta believes that there may be certain exceptions and the persons who did their duty well will be allowed to continue work.

The analyst said that such a mechanism for distributing posts, when the deputy ministers and the ministers represent one political force, should not lead to loss of transparency or confidence between the members of the government coalition.

The Pro-European Coalition was constituted on May 30 by the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party and the group of the Liberal reformers. Prime Minister Iurie Leanca said they agreed with all the partners to start the procedure for naming deputy ministers and agency heads in the next meeting of the Government, on June 12.

The Democratic leader Marian Lupu told a TV channel in an interview that the deputy ministers will be replaced so that they represent the same party as the ministers. The Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure will be an exception as it will be controlled by all the three signatory parties.
