Italian Culture Days celebrated at Chisinau International Airport

SRL “Avia Invest” stages the Italian Culture Days at the Chisinau International Airport, given that Italy is a very popular destination among the Moldovan passengers. In the period between November 25 and 27, the passengers will be able to taste traditional Italian dishes provided by “Casa Rinaldi” and to take pictures with a living statues on an Italian background in the waiting area, after passing the brooder control, IPN reports.

The opening ceremony was attended by such guests as the Italian Ambassador to Moldova Enrico Nunziata and other embassy representatives, representatives of the Moldovan-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, “EXIMBANK - Gruppo Veneto Banca” (the general partner of the event), “Casa Rinaldi”, Brio Sonores Group and others.

All the guests have welcomed the airport management’s initiative to organize such an event by which passengers are familiarized with the specific features of the Italian traditions.
“Avia Invest” Managing Director Petru Jardan underlined the importance of communication and interaction with the passengers for whom the company regularly organizes such events so that the waiting time in the Chisinau Airport terminal passes more enjoyably.

All the airline passengers will be able to take part in a raffle on November 25, between 10am and 5pm, and on November 26 and 27, between 11am and 5pms. On the last day of the event on November 27, there will be decided the winner of a free VIP lounge pass voucher offered by “Avia Invest”, a box with Italian products offered by “Casa Rinaldi” and a free roundtrip ticket Chisinau-Turin offered by Air Moldova airline.

The Chisinau International Airport was named “The fastest developing airport among the CIS countries” in 2013, in the category of airports with passenger traffic up to 1.5 million people a year. In 2013, the Chisinau International Airport served 1 321 362 passengers, up 8.26% on 2012. Currently, 22 airlines operate flights within the Chisinau Airport, with more than 30 destinations around the world.
