Irina Vlah: I voted for a Moldova where people don’t leave

“I voted for a peaceful, neutral Moldova. I voted for a Moldova where the people don’t leave,” independent candidate for President Irina Vlah said when leaving the polling station where she exercised her right to vote, IPN reports.

Irina Vlah noted that she voted for a Moldova where the people live in harmony and unity and for a President who takes care of the people. “We believe in the future of the Republic of Moldova,” she added.

The candidate came to the polling station accompanied by her daughter Anna Vlah, who told journalists that she voted for good changes that are upcoming in the Republic of Moldova.

Polls close at 09:00 p.m. However, the electoral office can may decide to extend the voting deadline by at most two hours to allow voters standing in a line at the polling station to mark their choice.
