The former Bashkan of Gagauzia Irina Vlah, who ran as an independent candidate for the position of President, called on her voters to come out en masse on November 3 and vote against Maia Sandu in the runoff election. According to the former candidate, if Maia Sandu keeps the post of President and her regime remains in power, the Republic of Moldova will certainly fail as a state, IPN reports.

"I decided to enter politics to put an end to the chaos and debauchery that Sandu and her regime started against the people. It is precisely because of the Sandu regime that about 250,000 citizens left the country for good in recent years. Under rule of Sandu and the PAS, the cumulative inflation in Moldova reached almost 50%. The national economy has continuously declined. Investors are leaving. Justice has been destroyed, the state institutions were subordinated to the interests of the regime, the human rights are flagrantly violated, the opponents are persecuted, the unsuitable media outlets are closed," stated Irina Vlah.

In her opinion, if Maia Sandu remains in office, the state will collapse. "That is why my exhortation is: Save the country! Come out en mass on November 3 and vote against Maia Sandu! On November 3, 2024, we will get rid of Maia Sandu, and in 2025 – of PAS. Only in this way can we save the Republic of Moldova," said Irina Vlah.

In the presidential election of October 20, Irina Vlah won 5.38% of the poll (83,193 votes), ranking 4th among the 11 candidates.
