The National Children's Library "Ion Creanga" on February 5 will take part in the national campaign "Reading Aloud Together". The campaign is initiated on the occasion of World Read Aloud Day, IPN reports.
During February 4-9, the library will organize reading workshops, meetings of reading clubs in partnership with kindergartens, secondary and high schools in Moldova and Romania. Librarians will read books by classic and contemporary authors to children, together with educators and teachers.
The campaign takes place under the slogan "DemocraZICI: We read together, for all".
The World Read Aloud Day has been celebrated on the initiative of the LitWorld organization since 2010, on the first Wednesday of February, and is marked annually by millions of people in over 170 countries.
