The National Alternative Movement (MAN), which won 20 out of 51 seats in the Chisinau City Council in the recent election, says it is willing to hold consultations with the other groups in the interest of the municipality and its residents.
The freshly re-elected Mayor Ion Ceban, the leader of MAN, told a press conference on Monday that his party is ready to support the campaign promises of his opponents. In the case of PAS and PSRM, he exemplified, MAN would be willing to support 60% of their respective programs.
At the national level, Ceban said MAN is also ready to cooperate with the government.
“We have no right to divide society (…) We propose an exchange of opinions with each group. We are oriented and ready to work for Chisinau, that’s what the people voted for,” declared Ion Ceban.
