The candidate for mayor of Chisinau of the “National Alternative Movement” Party (MAN) Ion Ceban said that his team will continue to invest in the creation of conditions for children and young people from the municipality of Chisinau. The works to repair and modernize kindergartens and schools by equipping and extending them will continue, IPN reports.
Ion Ceban told a news conference that so far the municipality managed to create over 4,000 places in 135 preschool groups. There were extended, modernized and opened 20 educational institutions. “We will continue, as we said, to open new groups, to repair and modernize playgrounds and pavilions. We will develop new programs for the whole educational system,” said the incumbent mayor of Chisinau.
The MAN team aims to continue the program to increase energy efficiency and thermally insulate buildings so as to diminish the energy costs of educational institutions. “We aim to continue the program to repair the cooking and sanitary facilities and other infrastructure components of educational institutions. We will also continue to extend the motivational programs for children and teachers. We aim to support the youth sector and to create new innovative and interactive programs for young people,” stated the candidate.
“At this stage, the people need peace and harmony. The people don’t need division. This is my message to all the politicians, from the left to the right. Let’s unite society around solutions and avoid division. We have to deal with thousands of problems faced in Chisinau and we, as a team, are ready to lend a hand to solve them,” stated Ion Ceban.
