Preliminary data obtained from the processing of 262 protocols in Chișinău, out of a total of 307, shows that Ion Ceban, the PSRM candidate for mayor of the capital, has accumulated 53.86% of the votes, while the ACUM bloc mayoral hopeful, Andrei Năstase, got 46.14% of the votes of the residents of Chișinău who participated in the election.
Voter turnout in the second round of local general elections was 40.34% of registered eligible voters.
