The exodus, the primitive economy and the social polarization are the fundamental issues of Chisinau municipality, according to PSRM candidate for mayor, Ion Ceban, which have been listed during the presentation of Chisinau Municipality Administration Program for 2019 - 2023, IPN reports.
According to Ion Ceban, "the exodus weakens the society, because more and more young people are leaving, jeopardizing the future economic growth, as young people should become the future tax payers and those who modernize the economy".
According to the candidate, the "primitive" economy does not offer personal growth opportunities for large groups of young people and has very little potential to generate added value. The candidate believes that social polarization complicates the situation in the society and increases mutual intolerance.
“The inhabitants of Chisinau need a mayor, not a politician. I will be the mayor of all inhabitants of the municipality regardless of their political preferences. The issues that must be addressed affect us all equally and, worse, threaten the future of Chisinau”, added Ion Ceban during the presentation.
