A project on promoting knowledge of Greek language, civilization and state institutions is being launched in Moldova. Info-Prim Neo quotes a press release of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) reading that the project pursues not to ease the migration to Greece, neither to offer jobs in that country, but to ease the social integration of potential migrants. Beneficiaries of the courses may be aged from 18 to 60 years. The project offers free studies of Greek (beginner level), civic training, seminars called “I live in Greece” and offers information about the Greek labor market. The courses will be held in Chisinau, in Romanian, from September to November, 2009. This project pursues to strengthen the knowledge and capacities of potential migrants, to ease the professional integration in Greece by using professional skills and by easing the access to the labor market in accordance with the Greek law.
