International contest for reconstruction of filtering station in Chisinau municipality will open soon

The Directorate for Complete Constructions (DCC) of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) will hold an international contest soon to select an entrepreneur for reconstruction of the filtering station in the Moldovan capital. Ad-interim chief of DCC Tudor Gnaciuc told journalists that the Czech company Kinetic has already worked out a feasibility study on reconstruction of the station. The document was delivered to the Regional Development Agency for technical and price expertise. Gnaciuc noted that the reconstruction works will be performed in several stages, and the reek emanated by mud platforms will be eliminated at the first stage. The cost of these works is estimated at 53 million dollars, while the general project on reconstruction of the station at 140 million dollars. According to Gnaciuc, this project has raised the interest of the Danish government, companies Energyinvestmentgroup of Moldova and Kinetic of the Czech Republic.
