August 10, 2023 - The VinOPERA International Classical Music Festival returns to the 6th edition in the Republic of Moldova, organized by the "Constantin Mimi" Foundation. The event will take place between August 30 and September 1, 2023, in three different locations in Anenii Noi district: Varnița village, Bulboaca village and Mimi Castle.

By organizing the "VinOPERA" event, the "Constantin Mimi" Foundation contributes to the fulfillment of its mission to promote tourism in the region, cultural and national values, to contribute to the improvement of the local economy, social inclusion, as well as to sustainable development. This year's edition of the festival offers a unique experience in a picturesque setting, combining classical music and quality wines with sustainability.

The program of the International Classical Music Festival VinOPERA 2023:

August 30, Varnița village:

  • 16:00 Exhibition of folk craftsmen - A foray into the authentic crafts of Moldova, during which participants will be able to admire and purchase works of traditional art and unique souvenirs.
  • 18:00 Recital "Gândul Mâței" - A musical recital that combines tradition with innovation, offering a fascinating reinterpretation of some classic musical pieces.
  • 19:00 "Plaies" Ethnofolk Ensemble - A vibrant show of dance and traditional music that reflects the authenticity and richness of our culture.

August 31, Bulboaca village:

  • 19:30 Constantin Moscovici Recital - A special moment where the magical sounds intertwine with the artist's passion and virtuosity.
  • 20:30 Dj Party - Folklor sounds - A unique atmosphere where folkloric sounds merge with modern rhythms, guests being invited to dance under the starry sky.

September 1, Mimi Castle:

  • 20:00 Symphonic concert led by Daniel Jinga , Chorus Master of the National Opera Choir from Bucharest and the National Philharmonic Orchestra from Chisinau.

A magnificent evening where internationally renowned artists will give a memorable show, performing musical masterpieces:

  • Iordache Basalic , baritone, soloist of the Bucharest National Opera, who throughout his career toured Europe and Asia and sang on the same stage with big names of the World Opera.
  • Mădălina Barbu , a young soloist from Bucharest with unique vocal qualities, being included in the rare category of coloratura sopranos.
  • Lilia Istratii , mezzo soprano of the "Maria Biesu" National Theater of Opera and Ballet from Chisinau and soloist at the Craiova Opera.

The VinOPERA International Classical Music Festival is distinguished by its firm commitment to sustainability and protecting the environment. It is a living example of how cultural events can be organized with care for natural resources and the impact on the environment. The sustainability elements of the festival include:

1. Green transport: Encouraging participants to use the train to reduce their carbon footprint.
