Interact-md portal intended to facilitate interaction between NGOs and the press

A new portal – interact-md.org – offers the NGOs, the mass media and the independent journalists the possibility of registering and presenting their services. The portal was created by the Tiraspol Information and Resource Center “Casa comuna” (IRC “Common-Home”), in cooperation with IM Trimetrica, and aims to establish cooperation relations between NGOs, the press, the bodies of the power and the business sector, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Center’s head Dumitru Gavrilov told a news conference that on this portal those interested can find detailed information about active organizations that register on it. “Our project is not political in character. It aims to help society, to offer informational benefits,” he stated. According to the representative of Trimetrica Eugeniu Cepoi, the procedure for registering on the portal is rather simple. The website enables to publish news and load links. All the options are free of charge. “The given application offers a platform for interaction between the people, NGOs and the business sector when problems appear,” he said. The project is in the process of development and evaluation. Its search system will be improved and the registration procedure will be further simplified. A forum will be organized for users to express their wishes as regards the options of the portal. The information will be accessible only after it is verified by the administration. IRC “Common-Home” collects and disseminates different public information to people. The portal was created with the support of the United States Agency for International Development within the FHI 360’s Moldova Civil Society Strengthening Program.
