A public lighting system with the use of an intelligent energy management system is to be installed in Feștelița village of Ștefan-Vodă district. The implementation of the pilot-project was approved in a meeting of the Energy Efficiency Energy, IPN reports.
The pilot-project envisions the setting up of 538 LED devices on 19 local streets with a length of about 18 km. The initiative will reduce the costs and will protect the environment from CO2 emissions, it is said in a press release of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.
The Energy Efficiency Energy also approved other pilot-projects, such as the project to reduce energy consumption at the Old People’s Home in Șoldănești town and at the secondary school of Șișcani village of Nisporeni district and the project to rehabilitate and modernize the public lighting system in Geamăna village of Anenii Noi district.
