Integrity Council has new member representing civil society

The Ministry of Justice selected a member of the Integrity Council of the National Integrity Authority on behalf of civil society. This is lawyer Danu Dogotari, says a press release of the Ministry of Justice that is quoted by IPN.

Cristina Șaptefraț, Radu Mîrza, Denis Sîtari and Olga Baciu, who were admitted to the interview stage, didn’t garner the necessary number of points, while Natalia Ilashchuk didn’t show up for an interview.

The Integrity Council consists of nine members. By one representative is designated by Parliament, the President, the Government, the Superior Council of Magistracy, the Superior Council of Prosecutors, the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova, while three representatives of civil society are chosen by the Ministry of Justice at a contest, based on regulations approved by the Government.
