During two days, on May 31 and June 1, the Bulboaca business entities operating close to the Mimi Castle, where the European Political Community Summit will take place, will not work. On the Summit day, the locals who work or have reasons to leave the village will be able to move only based on a special permit that will be issued by the mayor’s office, IPN reports.
“Probably any locality in the country would like to host a summit. We are very glad that they picked us, Bulboaca. We all hope for a better future,” the mayor of the village stated during a press tour.
According to him, the preparations for the Summit in Bulboaca were 95% completed. They have yet to execute planting, grass cutting and other enhancing works. So far, the local public administration built up four entrances, four stations, a parking lot, etc. The local authorities also improved street lighting and built two fences, once of which is in the form of the tricolor, which is 30 meters long and 3 meters wide. There were performed paving and curb laying works and also road repair and marking works.
The car owners will be issued by special permits by the police. These will use other access ways, including outside the village.
The Summit will take place at the Mimi Castle in Bulboaca village of Anenii Noi district, which is situated about 35 km from Chisinau.
