Following the incident that happened on the bridge located on Ismail Street in Chisinau, the circulation of public transport in the area was affected. The Chisinau City Hall said that the municipal services, together with the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, are taking actions to tow the special truck hanging over the bridge, IPN reports.
In the period, traffic will have limited access to the area as security needs to be ensured in the intervention area.
Buses running on routes No. 24, 31, 38 and 39 were suspended. Trolleybuses No. 9, 13 and 37 were diverted onto adjoining streets.
A special truck skidded off the bridge on Ismail St and hit the balustrade. The vehicle hangs over the bridge and risks falling. The municipal services secured the area and the emergency services are on the spot. The truck crew is safe and no other people were hurt.
