An International Monetary Fund (IMF) staff team led by Mr. Ruben Atoyan will hold discussions with the Moldovan authorities remotely from IMF Headquarters in Washington D.C. during October 19-27, 2020, IPN reports, quoting a press statement by Rodgers Chawani, IMF Resident Representative in the Republic of Moldova.
The purpose of the mission is regular information-gathering on recent economic developments, follow up on implementation of commitments for the staff-level-agreed ECF/EFF program, and discussions on the authorities’ policies to maintain macroeconomic and fiscal stability, including in the context of the state budget for 2021.
