Injustice is the one that drives the people way from the country, similar to the lack of conditions in which the people can exhibit their talent and share their experience. Injustice means corrupt prosecutors, avaricious systems that help only some to become rich. The Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” suggests solutions to such a situation, such as the assessment of judges, a National Anticorruption Directorate similar to Romania’s and strengthening of fiscal discipline, the party’s candidate form MP Igor Munteanu stated in an electoral debate at IPN.
According to Igor Munteanu, the politicization of justice is a big systemic problem. “Before Vladimir Plahotniuc left Moldova, there was a letter signed by 600 national prosecutors in support of the PDM. This means politicization and subordination of justice to a party. As regards the appointment of Domnica Manole as judge of the Constitutional Court, Manole is an example of judge who obeys the law, is an institution leader and a model for other judges. After Domnica Manole was abusively expelled from the system, for a short period of time she was among the supporters of an idea of democratic recovery in the Republic of Moldova. When she returned to the system, she renounced any affiliation and adopted an exemplary model of conduct,” said the vice president of PPPDA.
He noted he is not the supporter of political appointments, including in the judicial system, and will plead for appointments by contest.
In another development, Igor Munteanu said there are systemic frigidities in the economic sector, including corruption, constrains in the energy sector and a bad reputation at foreign level. That’s why the Republic of Moldova cannot attract financing from international originations and cannot attract private businesses. The human resources are important, but without infrastructure and connection to technological development, the people will not remain in the country. The national producers should be supported by the state as all the shops are full of foreign products. The agricultural processing industry should also be developed. “The reindustrialization of the country by supporting economic, multifunctional parks should be a decisive policy of the state in relation to small producers.”
Igor Munteanu called on the citizens to vote for PPPDA as this party fights for integrity in the public service, welfare at home, strong families, the return to the European family. They are for a coalition that would ensure the wellbeing and future of the children and will not form alliances with Renato Usatîi, Igor Dodon or Ilan Shor. PPPDA knows how to make is that the government remains under public control and works with the current President.
In the July 11 snap parliamentary elections, the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” will be under No. 9 on the ballot.
