Igor Dodon thanked the citizens of the Republic of Moldova as the incumbent President, as a candidate in elections and both as the President and as a candidate, IPN reports.
As the incumbent President, Igor Dodon thanked all the citizens who cast their ballots, no matter who they voted for. “You showed patriotism and that you care about the future of the Republic of Moldova,” Igor Dodon stated in a press briefing after 9pm.
As a candidate for President, Igor Dodon thanked the citizens who supported him. “I assure you that you will not regret this vote,” he noted.
As the President and as a candidate, Igor Dodon thanked all the employees of the state institutions that made sure the elections are free, fair and democratic. “I thank you for conducting the elections in the best way in not at all easy conditions,” he said.
