President Igor Dodon, who runs for a new term in office, called on the voters to go to polling stations on November 1 so as to elect Moldova’s President, IPN reports. “Time has come for Moldova to choose peace, stability and development.  We witnessed enough quarrels and conflicts of which we all got tired. Let’s leave the divergences, polemics and political divisions in the post. For the country to prosper, we must build,” Igor Dodon posted on Facebook.

“I left the useless confrontations and polemics for others. I chose to meet with you so as to better understand your concerns and problems that are waiting for efficient and swift solutions. During the past month, I managed to reach all the country’s districts. I had over 240 meetings in hundreds of cities and towns. I discussed with 45,000 of you, my compatriots,” wrote Igor Dodon.

“This Sunday we will decide the fate of the Republic of Moldova! You choose either peace and stability or conflicts and uncertainty. Come to polling stations on November 1 and make a correct choice! Be active and don’t neglect your right to vote.”

Igor Dodon runs as an independent, but is supported by the Party of Socialists. He is under No. 4 on the ballot.
