President Moldova Igor Dodon said the composition of the Supreme Security Council should be renewed and the Council should be thus convoked immediately, IPN reports.
In a posting on Facebook, President Dodon said that in the morning of June 10 he chaired a working meeting of the advisers and divisions heads of the President’s staff where they set several key objectives for the next few days.
According to Igor Dodon, in the meeting he reiterated the importance of promulgating the laws that were recently adopted by the newer parliamentary majority that consists of MPs of the Party of Socialists and the Bloc ACUM and underlined the necessity of initiating in Parliament discussions on the date of the general local elections.
Igor Dodon noted that on June 10 he will invite resident ambassadors to a discussion centering on the current situation in Moldova.
