The leader of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) Igor Dodon said that the November 3 vote was the blow that seriously shook the PAS government that will collapse in the middle of next year, when another parliamentary majority, a majority of the opposition, will be created and will involve the Party of Socialists. "In half a year, a describe fight will be given and we will win, and Moldova will be freed from an unbearable political regime that suffocates society," Igor Dodon said at a briefing, quoted by IPN.

The PSRM leader said that on November 3, the country proved that it no longer wants to endure injustice and wants a change. "We, those who wanted the change and justice for the country, were very many. And we, in fact, won morally and politically. Alexandr Stoianoglo was elected president of the country, by the citizens who live here, at home," said Igor Dodon.

The PSRM submitted dozens of notifications to the Central Election Commission, starting Sunday and until today, “which confirm the undemocratic, abusive and illegal nature of these elections". "We will defend the vote and the desire for justice of our citizens, through all possible legal ways, including through peaceful protests," said the politician.

According to Igor Dodon, the ruling party will fall next year and the political regime in the Republic of Moldova will change. "The Moldovans will know how to defend their national interest, that of living in a sovereign, neutral, modern state that is economically friendly towards all partner countries. Our national interest is to live well at home and to have good relations with everyone. And this will be the political stake of the Party of Socialists," noted the PSRM leader.

According to preliminary data of the Central Election Commission, more than 55% of the electors voted for Maia Sandu in the runoff election, while her opponent Alexandr Stoianoglo, supported by the Party of Socialists, won over 44% of the ballot.
