The chairman of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Igor Dodon marked his choice in the presidential election, not yet in the constitutional referendum. The former president of the country said that he voted for the Republic of Moldova to return to normality and for a President who respects the Constitution, IPN reports.

“I voted for justice, for a person who will be able to ensure justice for all,” said Igor Dodon. Asked why he did not run in the presidential election this time, the PSRM leader said that he decided to put forward a candidate who could be supported in the runoff vote by other opposition forces.

The politician also said that he did not vote in the referendum, arguing that this referendum is not about European integration, but about amending the Constitution.
