The electoral staff, also called the operational nucleus, campaign committee or electoral team, represents a group that consists of specialists from such areas as political sciences and electoral marketing, psychologists, sociologists, economists, electoral agents and volunteers who make a common, systematic and organized effort to work out and implement a complex plan based on detailed provisions, which consists of strategic actions and decisions aimed at gaining votes.

According to the information provided by press services, candidates or their representatives, the electoral staffs for the presidential elections are managed by party colleagues, relatives or even candidates for the office of President.

The electoral staff for the presidential elections of the Democratic Party is headed by MP Sergiu Sarbu.

The electoral staff of the Liberal Party is managed by the party’s leader Mihai Ghimpu.

MP Eugen Carpov is the head of the electoral staff of the European People’s Party of Moldova. This is also the party’s first deputy chairman.

The electoral staff of the Shor Party’s candidate Inna Popenko is Pavel Verejanu, who heads the group of councilors For Orhei on the Orhei Local Council.
