I want to know ABOUT ELECTIONS: electoral rolls

https://www.ipn.md/index.php/en/i-want-to-know-about-elections-electoral-rolls-7978_1030137.html

The electoral rolls compiled based on the State Register of Voters are the lists of all the people who can vote in elections, who have the domicile or residence on the territory of a polling place. The voter can be put only on one electoral list, at one polling place.

The electoral rolls become accessible at polling places 20 days before the election day. A copy of the list is kept at the mayor’s office.

Conditions should be created for the voters to familiarize themselves with the electoral rolls and to verify if these were compiled correctly. They can submit challenges over the non-inclusion in the list or exclusion from it and over other mistakes made when writing data about them and other voters until the day before the election day.

The challenges are examined by the electoral body of the polling place within 24 hours. The decisions made by these bodies can be disputed in court according to the set procedure, if they refused to correct the name or include a person in the list.

To find out the address and number of the polling place where one can vote, the elector can access the website of the Central Election Commission www.cec.md, in the division “Check your name on the SRV” (State Register of Voters).
