Former anticorruption prosecutor Victoria Furtună (storm translated into English, e.n.), who is running as an independent candidate in the presidential election, exercised her right to vote at a polling station in Hâncești. She told journalists that she voted for the future of the Republic of Moldova, for a ‘stormy’ Moldova, for a Moldova that has good relations with all the countries of the world, IPN reports.
“I voted to restore the history of our country, the language of our country and the faith in God and I assure you that together we will be the builders of a new Moldova,” stated Victoria Furtună.
