Homeless man sleeping on roadway injured fatally

A man without a permanent place of residence sleeping on the roadway was crushed to death by a taxi on the Chisinau – Anenii-Noi road yesterday evening, Dana Andronic, PR specialist of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo. A 76-year-old man was struck by a Ford-Tranzit minibus on Calea Mosilor St in Chisinau. He suffered serious head traumas and a leg fracture. A bicyclist aged 19 ran into the open door of a car on Bucuresti St. He bruised his right shoulder. A taxi struck a motorcyclist aged 26. The young man received a head wound. A three-year-old child suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma and chin injuries when a speeding Opel-Cadet driven by a man aged 46 hit him in Carnatenii-Noi village. One person was killed and 11 injured in eight accidents that happened on the national road during the last 24 hours.
