Afterward, they will come to monitor the works and will then decide if the world championship can be organized in Hancesti or not. By this championship, we want to encourage the young people to play sports to found sports clubs and to make effort to become champions,” stated the mayor.

Secretary general of the Motocross Federation of Moldova Alexandru Briuhov said the Moldovan athletes now do not take part in sidecar motocross championships. Many sportsmen abandoned their careers owing to the lack of money.

A congress of motocross federations will be held in Spain on November 22-23. It will decide where the next Sidecar Motocross World Championship will take place.
