Guarantees sought by Vlad Filat will be discussed within PDM, Marian Lupu

The guarantees that Vlad Filat demands from the PDM will be discussed within the party, said the party’s leader Marian Lupu. Asked to comment on the requests of the Liberal-Democrats, Marian Lupu told the journalists that during two years the PDM has shown loyalty in its statements and its deeds, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The political agreement we signed is the guarantee that we gave altogether, as a trilateral guarantee. We will have discussions inside the party. During the last two years, the PDM and I personally have shown only loyalty and provided guarantees from which we never deviated even when extremely unfavorable conditions were created for the Democratic Party,” said Marian Lupu. The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat asked for additional guarantees form the head of the Democratic Party that he will not form a coalition with the Communist Party in order to secure the Communist lawmakers’ support in the December 16 presidential elections. After the PLDM’s fifth congress on December 11, Vlad Filat said he will demand that Marian Lupu sign an annex to the agreement on the formation of the Alliance for European Integration in this respect.
